Double Feature: Alligator and Seven Brothers Meet Dracula

Grindhouse 2007 was a weekend of pure cinematic mayhem! The Venom Mob's Crippled Avengers was the biggest crowd pleaser, Claudia Jennings received due respect with Unholy Rollers, and Jim Kelly delivered thunderous afro-fu in Black Belt Jones! Some of the most mind blowing 35mm trailers to ever rip through a film projector brought the audience to near riot levels. Topping it all off was the epic Italian Horror Double Feature of Lucio Fulci's Zombie and the cinematic adrenaline rush Demons!

Silent Night, Deadly Night

Grindhouse 2006 featured some of the most brutal, violent and powerful images ever burned into celluloid! There were samurai sword eviscerations, blood geyser showers, eyeball slicing, all the deadly styles of kung fu, shotgun decapitations, and full blown flamethrower torching! The highlight was the double feature of Maniac (with director William Lustig in attendance) and Don’t Go In The House. Also screening was Sonny Chiba’s Dragon Princess and the legendary They Call Her One Eye among other films. Each movie was preceded by 35mm Grindhouse trailers!

In 2005 the Grindhouse returned with a vengeance: kung fu, blaxploitation, samurai vengeance, spaghetti westerns, and Italian horror! The lineup included the Shaw Brothers kung fu classics Executioners from Shaolin and Five Masters of Death, Pam Grier in Coffy, Lucio Fulci's Zombie, and Sergio Leone's For a Few Dollars More. Asses were kicked, limbs were hacked off, and a zombie fought a shark.

Grindhouse Film Festival 2004 featured old school kung fu, exploitation, and samurai vengeance films. The highlights were the incredibly rare 35mm prints of the Shaw Brothers classics 36th Chamber of Shaolin and Invincible Pole Fighter. These movies played alongside many other 35mm rarities including the head ripping Master of the Flying Guillotine!
